Uncategorized I had an opportunity to attend this year’s 2009 NSBE Engineering Conference & Career Fair. Last year it was in but this year they took it to the west coast and held it at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This was my first time leaving the east coast so it sure was exciting. The conference itself was a real eye opener in terms of feeling the full impact of our current economic situation adn how employers are really cutting back. Last year it seemed to be the exact opposite in terms of more full time positions over internships. I will still continue to work hard and land an engineering position. Enough about that, here are some pics from my trip!

Uncategorized Back from my spring break in Miami, South Beach. It was a double situation, I needed both the vacation as well as the upgrade in the quality of events my website was getting booked for. At times in business, you feel limited or stuck but when you do good, you attract good and that’s exactly what happened in Miami. I was only expected to be booked for a few college events, but after a few text messages and tweets on Twitter, I was quickly booked to cover some pretty major events going on that weekend. I couldn’t be more blessed to get access in to events I would only imagine about being in. Believe me when I say I’ve never been star-stuck, only because I honestly believe I too should be on that level. That and I really don’t see the difference between them and myself(besides money of course)

My man O’s condo! If you have the chance to, buy or rent one over a hotel! It’s not a bad investment at all. Look at the view compared to the hotel I was at before.
In the end, hotels run so much more and you don’t get what you pay for!
